We’re going back to the place where this chapter began.

Norway became a special place to us when we got engaged here on June 19, 2025. We spent both the first and last night of that trip in Lillehammer and fell in love with this part of the country - its connection to nature, its old Norwegian charm, and the feeling of exploring a brand new place together.

Exactly two years later, we’re getting married here. Our hope is that the weekend feels less like traveling to an event and more like spending a few days in Norway with some of our favorite people.

Everything happens onsite at Nermo, so once you arrive, you can settle in and enjoy the weekend. Dress for both Friday and Saturday is semi formal.

Expect roughly $105 per person/night for the standard double rooms, up to around $250/night for the better suites. Exact pricing depends on room type.

Fly into Oslo Airport Gardermoen (OSL). From there, there are two easy ways to get to the wedding.

Rent a car

Our recommendation if you plan to explore before or after the wedding. Once you arrive at Nermo, you won’t need the car for the wedding weekend itself.

02 / EASY ALTERNATIVE

Train to Lillehammer

Take the train directly from Oslo Airport to Lillehammer. Allow roughly 2½ hours total to reach Nermo, including the transfer from the station. Nermo can arrange pickup.

What is the weather like in Norway in June?

The wedding will be taking place during Midnight Sun, which is a natural phenomenon where the sun remains visible for 24 hours a day without setting below the horizon. In Lillehammer, it only gets as dark as twilight. If you go above the arctic circle, it won't set at all. Average highs range from 60°F to 67°F (15°C to 19°C), with lows of 42°F to 49°F. There are also strong chances of sporadic wind and rain throughout, so be sure to bring appropriate clothing!

What is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by November 30, 2026 via our wedding website RSVP page. If we do not hear from you by then, we will mark you as a “no” for catering finalization.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Due to venue capacity limits, we can only accommodate guests formally listed on your invitation envelope. Thank you for understanding!

Are children invited?

Children are very welcome. Families should request one of the room types suited for children when booking with Nermo.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

We are already aware of gluten and nut allergies. Please include any other restrictions when you RSVP.

Do you have a registry?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. For those who have asked, we won’t be creating a traditional registry, but a contribution toward our future together would be warmly appreciated.
